Formatted ssd and did a fresh install of win 8.1.Manually uninstalling the device, and reinstalling.I installed win 7 64x on an older hdd and put it in my pc and the cable was recognized right away and was usable. Now, like I said, this is only on win 8.1 64x. There is also a yellow exclamation mark on the device.
